We have discontinued offering the Export Reports.com service.
It has been almost exactly one year since the product was first launched. It was conceived in its current version in February 2008, launched in March, improved on and tested in the market over the following months. With one of the partners taking on a new job that doesn't allow him side projects like this, the service could no longer continue in its current incarnation.
If you are interested in continuing it on, feel free to contact me at exportreports@gmail.com.
Thank you to our customers and others who enjoyed the service.
We have many other exciting projects in the works. To stay up to date on future projects, sign-up for updates at www.vertabase.com/blog.

ExportReports.com Sheds "Beta"
This past Thursday, ExportsReports.com removed the Beta from our pages. We are now out on version 1.o. In this last round of changes, we added a few new features:
The first report is FREE!
So if you've been thinking about it, give it a try, there's no risk.
- Project List is now sorted by Company, just like Basecamp is internally
- Report now includes information about files if comment has attached files
- Page size is now customizable. Options include: letter, legal, A4, A5, B4, B5

What's Been Going On
The Beta period is almost over!
Over the past couple of months we've had a chance to work out the kinks, get recommendations on new features and provide a valuable service to our users.
Thank you to everyone who has used ExportReports.com during the Beta period. We look forward to continuing to spread the word, get your feedback and provide a useful add-on to Basecamp.
Stay tuned for a new feature announcement soon and the official 1.0 launch of ExportReports.com.

Embedded Images
We added a new feature this week. ExportReports.com will now embed any images in your project in the exported pdf.
Supported formats include:
There seem to be two sorts of images in Basecamp, those associated with a comment, and those that are just associated with the project. Those that are associated with a comment will appear inline with the comment. Those that are associated with just the project will appear all together at the end of the report.
It's a little experiment with expanding our features outside of what is enabled by the Basecamp API. We chose to go with images, as they fit neatly within our existing document flow, and tend to be of a predictable, reasonable size. Archiving more of your project is something we'd like to explore, but we have to be careful, as some users can have 50GB's of storage, and we're not in the position to handle that just yet.
We've been getting a few requests for this feature, so I hope you all like it.
